This was one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in, and Marsha was by far the best host we’ve ever had! The house is less than a 1-minute walk to the beach and had everything we could want: beach cart, chairs, boogie and skim boards, beach toys, sunshade, and canopy. Perfect for our family! The kitchen was well-equipped, and we loved grilling and eating outside. The outdoor shower was a huge plus after beach days. We walked to the local coffee shop a couple of mornings and grabbed ice cream in the afternoons. My husband loved fishing on the beach (bait shops within walking distance). On a rainy day, we drove 45 minutes to Jockey’s Ridge State Park and the Wright Brothers Museum, followed by a movie at the theater, which made a great day trip. We also visited Cape Hatteras Lighthouse and drove on the beach (a family favorite). The home was peaceful, relaxing, and had everything we needed. We highly recommend it for a stress-free family getaway to the Outer Banks! Thank you, Marsha!
Great house in a great location! It was an easy walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. Very clean, comfortable beds and furniture, and well decorated. The provided beach gear was really nice to have.
Afterdune Delight was nothing short of delightful. Beautifully appointed furnishings, wallpaper, bed linens…..super quiet neighborhood, porch surrounded by juniper trees…. just a restful oasis. Beach access is super close, and we also bought a permit and drove on the beach. The sound beach is awesome for young children. Kitchen, for us cooking foodies, was beyond well stocked, outdoor closet had all the chairs and amenities we were told to expect. The outdoor shower! not to be missed… The host Marsha, was most welcoming and is an excellent communicator with precise information.
